![]() your problem is a vacuum leak. check the vacuum lines under the intake make sure there not dry rotted. i had the same problem. it would do it sometimes and sometimes not. it was a vacuum line going to my fuel vapor value. the line was dry rotted and had a hole it in. when the rubber line twisted it would rev the motor up to around 2000 rpm the the line would twist again and it would close the rpms came down to origal settings. try the vacuum lines. thats proably your problem. good luck
