My 1991 GT with 20 000 original miles actually improved in economy after I put the Vortech blower on it. The engine is basically stock except for shorty headers, cat-back, C &L meter, and the Vortech A-trim. Prior to the blower install I was getting 25-26 m/gal on the highway, now I am getting 27m/gal. The car has 3.08 gears, and the RPMs are about 1800 at 75m/hr. I usually get very close to 400 miles out of a tank of gas.
City driving, I don't keep track of, but I would likely guess that it would be around 20m/gal. Keep in mind I drive this car fairly easy, if you drive your car hard, it's going to burn more fuel. Hope this helps. |
