The first thing to check is the momentary shut off in the back of the trunk or hatch by the left tail light, It shuts the fuel pump off in case of an accident. The second thing to check is the fuel pump relay. I have a 90 and it is located under the driver seat. After checking those you may have to drop the gas tank again and recheck all the wiring.
