CP, sounds like an exercise in futility. sorry to hear that.

having different lengths of bolts surprises you how, exactly? LOL J/K. i expect only the best and most logical.

as i recall, Mercon 5 supercedes mercon 3. i think M1 ATF meets Mercon requirements (i think from using it on my sis' probe). and it is relatively cheap from the local parts store.

(did you know that a 95 probe has no filter on the AOD - just a drain plug). i about puked when i saw that.

i would think being overfilled that much would make a difference. but i really dont understand the inner workings of an Auto. they do seem to be pretty level sensitive, though.

mercon dissolving latex....i wonder what it does to your skin. might try nitrile........
