You should be right on the 13's. I was running 14.0's with just D.O.T's & underdrives when I first got the car & wasn't as good of a driver. Don't forget to ice the day lites out of the intake & take out anything that will come out easy to keep the car lite. We also put a GT in the 13's with an off road pipe, race pulleys & D.O.T's and a 240 lb. driver. You just have to dirve it like you hate it & figure out the shift point your car likes best. I would recomend getting the heads & intake from an '87 & later. What you've got, a 3.73 gear & later induction should go 13.6's -13.7's all day.

i knew about the heads being different but did not know about the intake being different. unless i can pick up an 87+ manifold for dirt ill probly just end up saving for a performer.
