How did you get into 'stangs?

I have always loved mustangs. But I think what did it for me was my friend had an old 88 gt (piece of junk), 5 spd, t-tops, maroon. The thing was in terrible shape. The interior was torn to hell, and it stunk like mildew from the leaky weather stripping. But, that thing hauled tail!! As far as I know it was stock. I had a ranger at the time, and for whatever reason, he used to take my ranger and let me drive the stang. I put away so many cars with that thing it was un real. From then on, I had to have one. I now have two, and would buy another if money (and the boss) would let me.
