How did you get into 'stangs?

Anyways I was always into cars but probably what got me into mustangs was my dad buying a 66 GT coupe when i was in like 4th grade. He kept it all the way until I was in 7th grade but sold it. It was an east coast car that had a bit of rust and some other problems, i wanted it so bad though

anyways he replaced it with a 69 Mach 1 428 that he still has today so i grew up in my teens going to car shows with it. I originally hated the fox body cars but when i couldnt find a 67/68 fastback to drive everyday and fit my 17yo budget the fox body cars started to grow on me. After a summer of waiting tables I bought my 89 that I still own today And although i got in an accident in august within 3-4 weeks it will be all done with a nice new dark blue paintjob on it
