Default Intake leak probably is not the cause

I had a post a few weeks back where I was leaking oil from one of the bolts holding down the aluminum intake manifold. I thought it was a real problem, but when I took it to the mechanic, he said that older ford cast blocks do that a lot and that it is not a big deal. He said that for my car after inspecting it (your situation might be different). He had me put some pipe wrap in the bolt threads and some green rtv sealant and put it back in. Sure enough - it has not leaked since. He said the Blue RTV does not hold up well under the heat.

Is it possible that you moved the distributor and set the timing out of sync. Since you don't have points - that rules one other thing out. Fuel Filter - if clogged - could be starving fuel flow.
