![]() There is so very little difference in performance between the GT-40, Cobra, and the Explorer intakes, it makes it hard to justify spending the extra money on the GT-40. Yeah, it looks cool, but honestly there will be no performance gain from one to the other. Actually, if you want to get technical, all three use the exact same lower intake. The upper is the only difference.
Explorer used $200-250 Cobra used $250-300 Cobra new $400 It's up to you, but for performance, the TFS intake costs the same as the used GT-40 you are thinking of buying, and it will flow quite a bit better. That aside, the GT-40 intake is a solid piece, and it will work just fine with those heads. |
