When you say "face" I'm assuming (we all know what that does! DOH!) that you mean the flat area facing the piston, and not the cone shaped backside in the heads. Right?

If this is the case you're fine, except for an all out race motor. Put her back together and run it. You won't even know there's something amiss on that cylinder. JMHO Good luck bro!
