Do you have any mods at all for your stock 302? I put a 351 w in my 89gt and if I had it to do all over again, I would have put a 331 in it. Only because I drive this car on the street a lot and there just ain't a whole lot of room between the fenders. Since it is your daily driver, I would suggest a 331 or 347. All of your stuff still fits and if you stay fuel injected, it will be cheaper than a fuel injected 351 based motor. For what I wanted, the 351 was cheaper to build. There is not a lot of room to change plugs or tighten the header bolts ever so often. The passenger side is not too bad, but the driver side is a PITA. Between the dipstick tube, master cylinder, clutch cable, and the steering linkage, there is no room in the back of the motor. You can easily put a 331 in your car for $3500, if you do most of the work. Just my .02 worth.
