before i buy my AFR 185 heads.... ?
Im about to buy a pair of AFR 185 heads from AMP performance, my question is i have a 10.5:1 block built by FPS what will these 185 heads with 60cc do to my compression ? thanks guys !

Drive shaft, 3:73 gears, Stock carrier and axels. 26X11.5 M/T Et streets. Power adder- 175 shot of laughing gas. Best ET 11.5 @120mph on squeeze, 12.4 @109mph on muscle (on gt40 heads) on the 185 heads ... ??? tba |

Need to find out what cc heads that 10.5:1 was for. Could be 58, 60, 61. Most likely one of those three choices there. From what I have been reading lately, I wouldn't buy sh*t from AMP performance.

i guess my block is 10.5:1 to my GT40- Y heads, cause thats what i told FPS what i had when i bought the block ??? does that help ?

to late !! i already ordered my heads ! whats up with AMP ?
Troy over at FPS recemmended them to me . what kinda experiences did u guys have from them ?

Click here for the stuff on Amp.
Those GT40 "Y" heads have 64cc chambers. With the 60cc chambers, that would boost you to approximately 11:1. With the 58cc chambers, it would boost you to approximately 11.3:1. But there are too many variables in the equation to be exact. Those are close though.

Well, that sucks. I just tried the link I posted. Now, you have to be a member to get in and read that story. Last week, you didn't. What's up with that?
