as a VERY general rule of thumb, for roughly every 50 cubes you increase or decrease the motor, the rev range goes up or down by 500 rpm.

This is very general though, so say on a prerformer RPM you would lose 500 rpm or a bit more putting it on a 418, knocking the manifolds rev range down to 6k or below.
