im almost positive that the transmission will handle it because my car doesnt make much more than 300 hp at the flywheel, my main concern is the the rear-end and clutch

should i be upgrading axles and t-lock to 31 spline first?

and are slicks ok to go on a 17 in wheel? or should i just be looking for some nice drag radials? the wheels are stock bullits.
