You're absolutely right about looking for other strange things. I knew when i bought the car i'd probably find some surprises. One of those turned out to be a hastily and shittily assembled power wire to the voltage regulator (Which i, "conveniently" found out 1/2 before i was supposed to be at work). He did some stuff right, be he was cheap in alot of ways. I'll probably go ahead and replace the EVP sensor while i'm at it, since i'm back there, i can almost garauntee that even if that's not the problem itself it could be part of it, and i don't like doing things twice.
