I had a 1990 LSC and the AOD tranny had a magnet in the pan, vs. my 1993 GT AOD that did not. It looks like for the extra thousands you pay for the lincoln, you get the magnet, which helps tranny life. And the linclon had the same 5.0 HO, so should have just as strong if not stronger tranny than the mustang.
I dont know if the crown vics and t-birds had less clucth packs or not, never heard that before. good luck |
