Default OK, How About Clutch Replacement?

This is an easier question..I drive my car conservatively but the throwout bearing is always the first thing to wear when I drive (because of the work boots I always wear)..I had to get the entire clutch replaced professionally on my 96 GT because you can no longer just reach down into that engine block and pull out the clutch disc, pressure plate and bearings..usually the car has to go on a lift and the entire exhaust has to come off. Can anyone give me any advice on replacing the clutch myself, without having to spend $600 in labor hours for a mechanic?
