My Chinese Mustang, LOL
I think my '66 is maybe 50% or more Taiwanese now. Yesterday I had to put in a new driver's side window regulator. No prob, i just went down to my local Mustang parts house here in Houston to get the part. Ford $149.95/repro $29.95. Guess what I bought? Slowly, my car is more and more MADE IN TAIWAN . Anyone else have this problem?

Most of the reproduction parts are Taiwanese. Be especially careful of the big parts like fenders. I bought some fenders once that didn't even try to line up at the windshield post. Most of the other stuff is pretty good, though. Only a purist would pay the Ford parts prices.

Taiwanese sheet metal
That's exactly my experience with repop body parts. I have a repop hood and rear GT valance. I had to do a fair amount of body work on them to even be able to use them. The price was low though compared to the Ford parts, LOL. My repop bumpers were near perfect though.

My quarters fit pretty good, the biggest problem we had were the outer wheelhouse replacements from Canada, they didn't pretend to fit. We had to cut them up and splice and everything.
At least in Houston you can drive across town to get parts, the closest place for me is Waco or Dallas, so I have to take off work or get up way too early on Saturday and take the whole day going and coming back.
