Average times for a stock 87-93 5.0 with manual transmission: 0-60: 6.2 to 6.5 seconds. Quarter mile: 14.4 - 14.8@ 95mph.
These are averages from car magazines of the period. Some 87-93 5.0 owners claim high 13's, some low 15's but low 6 second 0-60 and mid-14-second quarter mile times are verifiable and pretty much average for rhe 87-93 5.0/T-5 Mustangs. Remember, most of these 87-93 5.0 models are getting harder to find in bone-stock form now and many have high mileage or modifications. |
