Default Re: Anyone using Canton racing pans?

Well didnt get to put the gasket on today but got the autometer oil guage mechanical instaled didnt take that long to do and fired it up to see what was really happening with the oil pressure. After it warmed up and at idle about 800rpm it was reading 50 psi and then I would bring the rpm up slowly to 4000-4500rpm and it was getting to 68-70psi I did this in the garage it was raining out too much to get it on the street. Whole engine is new combo with standard volume melling oil pump. Got a little over 200 miles on her now and have changed the oil twice. So does anyone think this is too much oil pressure? Thanks for any reply.
