Set up right, a junk yard motor will go 12s like it is. light car, good gears, tires, little suspention work. Mine will go 12.50s @ 108-109 with a BONE STOCK motor. Yes I only weigh 2750lbs and I can 60ft with a 1.5 but the question is how do you want to do it. I have a small budget and I am raising my two kids alone. Money does not have to be a factor. Weight and suspention is the key. Good Luck no matter how you do it. Now, 1 AFRs 165 2 Holly Systemax, & 65mmTB 3 XE264HR 4 24lbs injectors 5 1 5/8 long tube headers, no cats, Quickflows, dumped 6 4.11 gears, Pyle Bros Perf clutch kit in stock chunk 7 stock bottom end 8 90/10s, 4cyl springs (all 4), air bag. 9 Any tire you want, yes even a raidial, 12.80 to 11.90s 110 - 114mph depending on traction and your driving skill.
