From what I've heard and seen, the 4.6s from 96-97's really really really have to run to get 14s from the factory.

MM&FF quoted that it was easier for them to get the 99 V6 they tested into the 14s than it was to get the 96 GT they tested. While there may be a few stock 14sec 96-97GT's (the 98s do run harder) out there, I don't see the accuracy of quoting them as 14sec cars.

Quite frankly, the time you have listed is unbelievable from a stock 97GT with your 60ft time. If you cut a 2.0 60ft (entirely possible with a very good driver), you'd have a 13sec stock 97GT.

Btw, I'm not calling you a liar at all. If that's what you ran, that's what you ran. I just can't understand or explain the numbers.
