Did you check all the header bolts?

The reason I ask is because last week I figured out the source of my ticking. It was an exhaust leak on the driver side header! When I first heard the noise I was convinced it was an internal problem. I called my friend to help me figure it out. When he heard it he started laughing at me. He proceeded to remove one header bolt with his fingers and found three others missing.

I have heard MANY stories of loose or missing header bolts, but never anything about injectors on mustangs.

Hope you have an easy header bolt fix and not a bumb lifter.

Good Luck!
