Question

Thanks, you're right, I still am wondering about the roller lifters sticking. This noise has me really perplexed-I put my ear to the rocker molding tonight and heard it very clear. It's not very loud and it seems to be coming from about where the bellhousing bolts up to the block or maybe a little behind there. Of course, it's not an acoustically engineered auditorium so it's probably traveling down that way from it's point of origin. I'll try an additive that claims to free sticking lifters-does anyone have a recommendation? I've used Marvel's Mystery Oil in the past.
