Hey unit, I saw an ad like that and they tested several intakes before and after extrude honing and the stock did flow a little less but had the best runner balance of all the intakes tested. You can port extensively by cutting the intake and if you want to do like mine on my old mustang you can open it up so much in the front that you will have to weld the hole where the bolt goes through in the center. That is a big restriction. If I had to do it all over again I would have done it the same but I would have also had it extrude honed to make it perfect.
