				 |  Re: Q's about cat converters Once you've got them, nobody is going to bust you for having used equipment, it's just the matter of getting them. I knew this from classes i took when I was going to get my smog license, but figured nobody enforced it. Then I went to a local junkyard trying to get a cat for my ex's POS K-car. I was lying in the mud for close to an hour trying to wrestle that f'er out, and ended up with mud everywhere. I got up to the window, and they told me I could buy the pipes before and after the cat, but the cat itself had to stay. Pissed me off. I ended up tossing it over the fence when no one was looking.
