I think that all 302's used the same timing cover, the only difference was that the mechanical fuel pump cars had an opening in the cover for the fuel pump to run off of the cam eccentric, I could be wrong though. It sounds like you are ordering form a dealer, it would probably be cheaper to order an aftermarket one from Jeg's or Summit, etc.
