just pulled the 351 out of my 65 a couple months ago, i had a 302 in the garage for a couple yrs, so i had it rebuilt. but anyway the 351 fit in the 65 fine didnt need much work at all only thing we had to change out was the ex manafolds, but everything else is the same. i still got the 289 hi-po in the garage as well. i am in the process of rebuilding that one myself. as far as the 351 and the clearance i didnt have any problems..
