Well, some general ideas,
Smaller things:
Headers
GEARS
Petronix ignition to eliminate the points
TUNING (Hey, make the most out of what you've got)
Bigger stuff:
heads/cam/intake (lots of choices, lots of folks like ARF's, but I dont know enough about heads to recommend a particular brand. Make sure the pieces work together though. Someone like Edlebrock who sells matched systems is never a bad thing)
Quality rebuild, maybe bump the compression up. (or keep the comp lower if you eventually want to boost it)
Blower
