I'm sure you are aware that the reason oil pressure drops after the motor warms up has to do with the oil's "thickness" relative to its temperature. In a sense, warm oil is going to be less dense than cold oil. Be more concerned with the oil pressure once you are driving the car.
Check the level of oil in your car next time its cold. Low oil can show low pressure readings. So basically, the answer to your question is 'No'. 10w-40 is not neccessary. |
