roller rockers and valve cover

does anyone know if the stock valve covers can be used with
1.7 roller rockers?

Yes they can especially with aftermarket heads the have a raised valve cover area.

You may have to grind on them a little bit but they do fit.

clearance should be?

According to FRPP you can use stock valve covers if you modify the baffle in the R/H
cover. The minimum piston to valve clearance as per Cranecams is .100" for intake and
.120" for exhaust
