The new tips look just like the old tips from the outside. They just do not have any sound deadening in them (thereby not reducing the inside diameter). They also were shorter requireing an extension for the tail pipe to exhaust tip (PINTA). They are Hooker slash end tips 3" / 2 1/2" that I got from Jegs for about $30-40.

The only way to know if you get a reduction in back pressure is to measure it before and after. That's what I did, and I believe the reduction helped me some.
