34 is EGR Valve Position (EVP) sensor or Pressure Feedback EGR (PFE) sensor: sensor voltage out of self test specification limits, or,
signal voltage above closed limit during normal engine run operation, or, signal indicates insufficient EGR flow. 44 is Problems in the Thermactor Air Control system. 79 is Air conditioner on during self test. Now, some of these are self explanatory and some like the egr stuff I have no clue, but mine causes the same codes! Good luck.. I gave up on trying to fix those codes about two years ago! ![]() ------------------ Joe! 1988 GT, 167,000 miles!!! 13.71@105mph Check out my listing! Click here!
