Default Re: k guys am i gettin' screwed on my motor?

Sounds reasonable for basic shortblock machining and assembly. Typical shop costs are $55/hour around here. Be thankful, my last S/W engine was the better part of $15k and I already had some of the parts! I'm just putting some new slugs, a new cam and new vac system on it this year and I'll have well over $4200 in that!
