![]() I have seen a pressure plate cause a vibration before too. Did you get a new clutch kit? If everything was fine before the swap, it almost has to be the flywheel or the pressure plate. Even if the rubber on the harmonic balancer has deteriorated some, that will not throw the balance off. Just the timing marks. You might notice a slight vibration from this but I doubt it.

![]() did you try removing the fan and waterpump belt yet? I have had a similar problem in the past and the water pump bearing was going bad and was wobbling causing a serious vibration.

![]() And yes, it would be less expencive to buy another new flywheel than sending the old one to the US for a check out. The vibration intencifies to 2000 rpm and stays the same from that throughtout. At idle I feel no vibration.
