Some owners of 01-02's have had a problem with blowing spark plugs out. Ford didn't put enough threads in the head ( I think there are 3 or 4 in there)...in 03 they started putting 6 threads in the head so they don't have the same problem. If you have a warranty, it shouldn't be a problem. If you don't have a warranty, it would cost a pretty penny to replace a cyl. head if a spark plug blew out. But I don't want to scare you....this isn't a major issue. Just check that the plugs are snug every now and then (like at every oil change) and you shouldn't have any problems at all. Lastly, you'll love the L!!!!! Be sure to post some pics when you get it!!
