It's pretty simple, just unbolt it from the intake and spray some carb cleaner or some throttle body spray into it and dry to wipe it out with something like a q-tip. Just be sure to let it dry before you hook it back up. Also make sure you have the right temp. t-stat. That or your coolant temp sensor in the intake manifold may be bad, they are usually less than $15. Can you tell I work in a parts store....
