Default Re: Tire Size - what will fit??

OK - I went and picked up tires and rims - they were a package deal. They look great....
Here is the question - I got 215/60 R 15 all around. I put them on checking for fit...Back is OK, but the front is a little tight. They are wide enough that the tire comes within 1/2 inch of the upper control arm and about an inch from the lower tie rod. I bounced the car all over the place checking for clearance and it seems that these clearances are OK. I think they move in harmony together (control arm and tire) so am I correct in assuming that the tight clearance will not be a problem? I just don't see how they could ever touch, but just wanted to check and see what you guys thought since they are so close?
