![]() I agree that most girls are not 'into' Fox-bodied Mustangs or high performance car, in general. To most of them, a car is just transportation. That's why you see a lot of girls driving Honda Civics, Mitsubishi Spyders, Volvo convertibles and the like. The 'retro' look of a car like my '90 Mustang LX hatch doesn't do much for them. Even my loving wife, who has driven the 'Stang many times over the years, still calls it 'Bossy' - meaning that it feels like it wants to get away from her any second. "Too much power" (it's near-stock!). 'Hard to drive". Go figure.
![]() So, the bottom line here is and remains that a Fox-bodied Mustang V-8 is always going to be mostly a 'guys car' and you can't expect too many potential girlfriends to be impressed with yours - or to appreciate it as you do. Then again, any guy who buys a car just because girls may like it, even if it's a slow piece of you-know-what, probably shouldn't even be messing with girls in the first place, if you get my drift ![]()
