I have a 'big bell' C4 in my '79 Pace Car (Ford also made a 'small bell' version, but I believe this was for the Mustang II) with the exhaust converted to '87-93 style with equal length 1-5/8" shorties and 2.5" H-pipe and catback. Everything fits great.
Can't say for sure about the full length headers, though.
