![]() You can put any engine in any car/tk. Just how much "Work", and how much money do you want to throw at it.
The swap you're talking about, 2.9 V-6 pulled and an inline 170 just isn't swap made in heaven. Way too many differences in the engines to start with. Plus the Bronco II is FI with all the EEC harnesses and componets. The 170 is a single barrel carb. with points, condensor and "Zero" electronics. I wouldn't attempt it. Just sounds like one heck of a nightmare. It just might be easier to build a bridge across the Atlantic ocean to europe.
