![]() I think it is worth yanking, but I am not exactly sure I would install it how it is. I put an 81 AOD in the stang when I first did the c-4 to AOD swap. It got me going, but after mild abuse it let go. the earlier AOD's were not as beefy as the later ones, especially ones out of a mustang. They have less clutches, weaker servos, u get the point. The good news though, is you can use the 81 AOD, and beef it up with the better parts should u choose to do so.
