I'm actually having a similar problem... After shifting out of first, it goes to second, and then third, but seems to stay in second, even if at a stop... And the kick down doesn't seem to be working... OD seems to not engage... I put a new B&M transmission, with a 2400 stall converter in it, I haven't drove it that much, but I think I'm going to take it to a transmission shop to see what they can do... I found that web site mentioned earlier, and adjusted it per what they said, still didn't help...
I hope I can get it fixed before I have to go back to work lol...
