Thanks 69fastback. I did manage to buy a Mustang, a 69 Fastback Mach I. The car is really nice and the previous owner spent a lot of time and money on it. Will try to post a picture or two. The ID tag is not in the door as you explained, but must have been removed. I noticed the two holes where the plate was fastened to. There is a number on the inside of the windscreen. Will this tell the same info?
Could you also tell me where can I get info on what decals and badges were fitted to the 69 MachI as these were all removed at the time of repainting the car. At last, I am also a proud owner of a Mustang. I am also looking for the drivers door window mould/seal that fits between the two windows. Hey, I cant upload pics. Am I doing something wrong!!
