Hello,
If I were her I would also probably invest in an electric fan to go along with the belt driven fan. Just stick the fan in front of the radiator, and if your thermostat is working right, she should stay cool all the time. 220 is a little to hot to be running though, even if she bought a fan she should check the cooling system for problems.
