UPDATE:

I found the problem. The vacuum line from the front of the intake that runs toward the passanger side was busted. At first I saw a crack in the line and thought "that must be it!" but when I lightly pulled on the line, it was gashed through the whole other half and had shredded off where it was connected. Took a little bit of work and $.10 cents worth of vacuum hose (they accidently charged me 1 in. instead of 1 ft.). Good thing I waited on getting o2 sensors ($47 each) and the other egr stuff ($100 EVP) I was soooo close to buying the other stuff but second guessed myself at the store. Thanks for the replies everyone, I appreciate the help and advice.
