				 | Clutch suggestions for new motor 306, Forged pistons, Eagle rods, stock crank, Typhoon intake ('cause I got one), 65mm T.B., 70mm "cobra" air meter ('cause I got 'em), AFR 165 heads, Trick flow #1 cam (221*/225*@.050 .530/.542 lift W/ my 1.7 RR's). Am I stuck with 24# injectors or does the '93 cobra meter have interchangable flow tubes? I know the meter and T.B are a bit small but I got them so for now... I think I may have to go to 36# injectors? I've been speed density up until now but I have a CPU and the meter, have to buy injectors either way. Oh yeah, I wanted input on a clutch? T-5 3.73's 70% street car. All suggestions appreciated Wes

				 | Re: Clutch suggestions for new motor Centerforce dual friction or Ford racing king cobra are good clutches. Centerforce is a little pricey, but worth it.

To use the cobra meter with 24#ers you would have to have a cobra ecu. 36# injectors would be way in the phuck too big. BTW I have been running a $159.00 Ford racing clutch for the last 3 years with no problems on a high 12 second car.

				 | Re: Clutch suggestions for new motor Still haven't made a choice yet , a D.F. clutch has a heavier peddle than the ford or spec clutches, is this correct?

I'm running a RAM sintered Iron clutch disc, a Borg/Beck style pressure plate (3 prongs instead of "fingers") and the clutch feels no different than stock. The CLUTCH/Pressure Plate have to match the horsepower/torque you're making. The rest is gravy.............

My bad! Since we're talking about clutches, don't forget about my buddy Walt down at ProMotion Powertrains, in Florida. He makes a bunch of killer clutch setups!!! I'm stepping up to one of his Kevlar systems this winter. If his clutches are ANYTHING like his trannys are, then I'm all over it like a fat kid on a donut. LOVE that tranny he built for me!
