I used the braided sleeve on various rubberhoses with excellent results. The only problem is that the s/steel braided sleeves do tend to fade over time. Not sure if any solvent is acailable to bring back that nice shine. Braided sleeves defenitely make those ugly black rubber hoses look much better. Most accesory shops stock it. Good luck!!
