REV , there is some good news for you! Mallory has released a new ignition module called the "E module", which is considerably less than the $90 units. I'm on my 3rd module but I just bought the new "E module" through Summit for $38. The part number is" MAA-600M in case you're interested. I just installed it last night but when I went to fire the engine, the battery was low because it's been setting since October, in a cold garage outside so I had to bring the battery in and put it on the charger for the night.(pissed me off!!)
They also make a "power filter" which is "supposed" to filter out voltage spikes that kills modules for another $36
I guess these new modules are supposed to be better than the old ones and less expensive at the same time.
