![]() I'm just the oposite, I've had nothing but good luck with AFB's. It's the darn Holley's with their leaks and power valves that drives me crazy.
I had Holleys on my Donzi and later Cigarette. They'd blow a power valve and I'd be out there rocking back and forth changing the power valve so I could get home. Had to idle through the "no wake" zones. With the blown power valve, it was hard to keep it idling without loading up. I switched to AFB's, a little triming and not a problem. Also, ran dual 500's on my last Mustang and am building a 347 now with dual 500's. To me they are much easier to tune and hold the tune better. "That's my story and I'm sticking to it !!"
